As small girls my sister and I loved the "Dear John Letter" and would ask our mom to turn it up when it came on KGEN throughout the day.R. Wasn't it located about where the parking garage is on Acequia? I remember going there the night of the flood of 1955. People spent the night there but we were lucky enough to go to my grandmother's house on Center street. Her house was high & dry. I also remember going to the auditorium for our polio vaccinations, I think in a sugar cube?? The National Guard Armory was across the street where the Convention Center is now.<br />I love reading this little newsletter so full of fun memories.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02271464272790081306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148427205406847766.post-4140007362312807342016-09-30T11:23:55.675-07:002016-09-30T11:23:55.675-07:00I definitely remember the trailer at the Visalia T...I definitely remember the trailer at the Visalia Theater. My mother Charlotte Hagen and I went to see The Long Long Trailer - she loved Lucy and Desi - and then walked through the trailer. I think that was the beginning of her fascination with trailers!PHDuartehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01197785193431043011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2148427205406847766.post-81764589559586483082016-09-29T14:55:17.189-07:002016-09-29T14:55:17.189-07:00Not a comment but a question about the auditorium ...Not a comment but a question about the auditorium photo.
